Cambodia to Enhance Economic Diplomacy Efforts, Prime Minister Announces

Melbourne, Australia: Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, has declared a strategic shift towards strengthening the nation's economic diplomacy, emphasizing its critical role in the prosperity of both the people and the country. The Prime Minister made this announcement during a gathering with approximately 2,000 Cambodian nationals residing in Australia and New Zealand, held in Melbourne on March 3.

Addressing the attendees, Prime Minister Hun Manet highlighted that the 7th-mandate Royal Government of Cambodia is set to prioritize the advancement of economic diplomacy as a core component of its strategy to benefit the Cambodian people. This initiative reflects the government's recognition of the economy as the backbone of national well-being and sovereignty.
